I provide written translations: from English to Polish and Polish to English. I own TRADOS (Studio 2009 and 2007 Freelance) and am SDL certified.
Accepted formats of documents:
- Any recognized by Microsoft Office 2007 (various text documents, spreadsheets, Access databases, PowerPoint presentations etc.)
- HTML files
- PDF files
- PostScript (.ps) files
- Scans in TIFF and JPEG format (provided that the document is sufficiently legible to work from)
- Fax transmissions
- And, of course, printed documents in paper form.
How to send your documents?
- Electronic files: send either the files or a link to online documents to ad.artem.musicae@gmail.com.
- Fax: send the material to be translated to phone no. (+48) 32 444 6952
- Printed matter: send your material to the address given on the contact page. To assure its delivery, please use registered mail.
Output format:
Documents provided as HTML pages or the most common Microsoft Office files (.xls, .ppt, etc.) will be returned in the same format as originally received. For any other formats the translation will by default be provided as Microsoft Word 97-2003 documents in a standard .doc document structure with headers of different levels, paragraphs, lists, simple tables and footnotes. In the standard rates, NO graphic formatting is included: any text present in pictures will be provided as a list of pairs "original-translation". Upon request I can supply files in other formats as well, among them Adobe .pdf and PostScript for printing purposes.
Other services I offer include: more advanced formatting, preparation of documents for publishing, website translation, graphics editing. In case of any special requirements (also exceeding those explicitly spelled out here) please ask for options and rates.
