My basic rates for simple text, such as, for example, private e-mail correspondence, start from 42 PLN (English to Polish) and 48 PLN (Polish to English) per page and apply to a standard page of 1500 characters including spaces (counted on the output document), for up to 5 pages per work day, for non-specialized texts. For this calculation I am counting a working week of 6 days, from Monday to Saturday. Translations of documents of up to 5 pages can be provided the following work day by 16:00.

More urgent services (express, super-express, and overnight jobs) are available at higher rates. Please ask about conditions and options to meet your requirements. Starting 2011, my minimum rate for any translation will amount to PLN 100,- (or € 30,- if invoiced in Euro) per order and invoice issued.

Since specialized documents vary greatly in their level of difficulty and consequently the required work time, please provide a sample of your text for evaluation and to obtain a quote.

Each inquiry will receive an offer including rates and the corresponding deadline(s) that will be met. A positive reply by the customer will be regarded as a binding contract resulting in the performance of the respective job. The final translation will be charged in accordance with the prices given in the quote.

I issue VAT invoices for all the jobs executed and expect payment within one week of completion of the project. First-time customers are expected to pay 50% of the estimated final price of the translation service as an advance payment.

Preferably via bank transfer to the bank account provided on the Contact page. Please quote the invoice number with your payment such as to mark it clearly and ease book keeping matters. For orders from outside Poland, the money should either be transfer to the aforementioned account no. (with all the associated costs payable by the customer!), or can also be made to the PayPal account ad.artem.musicae@gmail.com; in this case either in PLN or the equivalent in Euro. For the PayPal option please add €10,- / 40 PLN to your invoice total to help defray the costs charged by the service for transactions on company accounts.

The customer declares and guarantees that the source text is owned by him and he may freely use it and that the translation of the source text and the publication, distribution, sale or other use of the source text does not violate any rights of respective authors, trademarks, patent or other third party rights.

To provide the best service possible I accept only documents that do not lie outside my areas of expertise for translation. For such I offer professional, informed, proofread translations that follow standard quality procedures. I proudly say that I rather deny a job than provide an execution below my own high standards of service. Nevertheless, I cannot be held responsible for any damages, direct or indirect, or claims made by third parties resulting from either the translation carried out through "Non legitur" or from a possible real life application of any of the translations provided.

Ordering a translation equals the customer's consent with the above agreement and terms.

These General Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, and the parties elect by mutual consent to submit to the jurisdiction of Regional Court in Zabrze.
