Rates for translations:
Rates for translations depend on the time needed to execute the service you wish to receive. Various factors contribute to this amount of time: The format and the complexity of your document, the amount of research needed to come up with the specific terminology that will make you translated document exact in its nuances of meaning in the target language, the turnaround time, any additional requirements apart from the plain translation process, and more. Therefore I need to see your source document to assess it for the purpose of offering you a realistic and fair quote for my linguistic expertise. Just get in touch with any request you may have! The initial analysis and quote are entirely free of charge and can be sent within one work day. Should you need more urgent response, let me know. Even this can be arranged under my special customer satisfaction policy/program.
Each enquiry will receive a quote including rates and the corresponding deadline(s) that can be met. A positive reply by the customer is regarded as a binding contract resulting in the performance of the respective job. The final translation will be charged in accordance with the rates given in the initial quote.
Payment terms:
For private customers I require the full amount of the translation service as a down payment to be transferred to my account before the execution of the job will be undertaken.
For business customers my terms are bank transfer, 30 days NET, all transfer cost as the responsibility of the buyer. I charge late payment fees on any invoice failing to clear by its due date. Business orders generally need to be made accompanied by an official purchase order on company letterhead or accompanied by all your company data plus tax ID
Should you prefer to settle your invoice through PayPal I may be able to accept this against the payment of a surcharge to help defray the high cost PayPal places on owners of business accounts. Details depend on the amount to be transferred; in case of interest, let me know before the agreement on your order, so that we can find a way!
Customer's declaration of rights to the source text:
The customer declares and guarantees that the source text is owned by him and he may freely use it and that the translation of the source text and the publication, distribution, sale or other use of the source text does not violate any rights of respective authors, trademarks, patent or other third party rights.
Quality standards and limits of responsibility:
To provide the best service possible I accept only documents that do not lie outside my areas of expertise for translation. For such I offer professional, informed, proofread translations that follow standard quality procedures. I proudly say that I rather deny a job than provide an execution below my own high standards of service. Nevertheless, I cannot be held responsible for any damages, direct or indirect, or claims made by third parties resulting from either the translation carried out through "Non legitur" or from a possible real life application of any of the translations provided.
Final statement of agreement and place of jurisdiction:
Ordering a translation equals the customer's consent with the above agreement and terms. These General Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, and the parties elect by mutual consent to submit to the jurisdiction of Regional Court in Zabrze.
